Before you walk through our town …take a walk through our history. Eureka Springs Historical Museum houses a variety of permanent and rotating exhibits, in an effort to preserve the history and art of this health resort town and its people. Learn how this chaotic tent city of 10,000 souls exploded into a Victoria Health Spa with 54 luxurious hotels.
Our newly renovated first floor houses many new permanent exhibits, including: “Our Native American History”, “Eureka Springs, The City That Water Built”, “Fires-The Big Ones!,” and “Travel and Tourism.”
Our second floor contains many more exhibits, including “Schools”, “Crescent College,” “The Original Ozark Folk Festival” and “Medicine.”
Our Art Gallery features artists that helped Eureka Springs to become an Artist’s Colony in the 1930’S.
