Before you walk through our town…take a walk through our history. ESHM houses a variety of permanent and rotating exhibits, preserving the history and art of this health resort town and it’s people. Learn how this chaotic tent city of 10,000 souls exploded into a victorian health spa with 54 luxurious hotels.

Our newly renovated first floor houses many new permanent exhibits, including “Our Native American History”, “Eureka Springs, The City That Water Built”,”Fires-The Big Ones!”, and “Travel and Tourism”. It also houses a temporary exhibit on display through 2013, “The Original Ozark Folk Festival”.

Our second floor contains many more exhibits, including “Schools”, “Crescent College”, and “Medicine”, as well as an Art Gallery, featuring artists that helped create the artist boom in Eureka Springs.

Temporary Exhibits

Offical Opening of Exhibit will take place on May 24th, in collaboration with the re-dedication of the Doughboy Statue in Basin Park. Admission is free to view exhibit on this day! Enjoy some refreshments afterward. We look forward to seeing you!
